Sony Cybershot DSC TX-20

Even before summer came, I was convincing my sister to buy a waterproof camera. I told her we could have all the fun posing underwater. And we do not have to worry about a thing. So upon my persuasion she bought a Sony Cybershot DSC TX-20 at Kimstore. It is cheaper there compare to SM outlets. There's only one way to put this gadget to the test: summer outing!

I'll tell you, I don't like this camera. I LOVE IT! We had fun having our underwater shots just as I predicted. We can bring it even if we're in pool and so we'd never miss any moments unlike with an ordinary camera. The 16.2 MP resolution brings crisp and clear images that I love. It is also very compact (small as a purse!) and yet very stylish. It has a touch screen monitor and easy to use. The only thing I didn't like is its battery. It drains fast. Or maybe we were using it for a longer time and we're taking pictures non-stop. But I can live with that. Aside from being waterproof, it is also shockproof and dustproof. One of the features of this camera that decides me to choose this among other waterproof camera is the panoramic shot.

The view of Daranak Falls in Tanay, Rizal. Our destination this summer.

Waters from the Daranak Falls are refreshing

Underwater shots are perfection! :)

Virtual Zoo

When my sister and I renewed our teacher's license at PRC last week, we didn't pass the chance of going to DIVISORIA! I heart Divisoria. It's hard not to like it because everywhere you look, there is a bargain. I promise not to buy anything but when I saw discounted items here and there, ahhh I lose self control. But it's all good since as I said it's very affordable. DV is one of my favorite places. Anyway, after we shopped, we went to Virtual Zoo. It is located at the fourth floor of Tutuban Center Mall. I thought I will have to force my son to take his picture there but no, no, no, to my surprise he likes the Virtual Zoo!

We  have to return to DV the following day because one of the bags that my sister bought has damage. That's a tip there for everyone. Check the items thoroughly before you buy it. They're cheap but some have damage on it. So we went again for the second time and this time, I brought my DSLR. The pictures are much better in my taste.

And the best thing about the Virtual Zoo is it's free!

Movie Marathon

Last week, Holyweek, we just stayed home and rented and watched movies. We didn't plan anything since my mother is not here and our father recently undergo operation. It was a relaxing time and I learn a thing or two from those movies. Here's my thought about some of them:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

The mind may forget but the heart will always remember. I couldn't agree more. I like this movie. And I like the name Clementine.

Definitely, Maybe

Sometimes, we think it's over. But nothing is over until you say its over. Sometimes, the timing is not right but everything happens for a reason. If you really love someone, just say it! Because if you don't, you'll live a sad life like Will in the movie.

The Lorax

My son likes this movie! Maybe because this is the only cartoon movie that we rented. I like the song numbers and the message: Plant trees or don't cut trees!

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

This is a long movie and I watched it alone. Which is a good thing because I didn't know it contains sensitive scene. The scene or the words that marked the most to me was by the villain. Something about trusting our instincts. Sometimes we sense something is wrong and yet we continue our course of action. The villain also said that fear of a offending someone is stronger than the fear of pain. To me, it ring truth.

The Smurfs
As you know, smurfs name themselves after their personality. If I am a smurf, I think people will give me the name SHY.  But the truth is I am not shy. I am just not talkative and sociable. I just like being left alone. But to someone I am comfortable with, shy is the least I can be. So I guess, they can name me "WAIT-UNTIL-YOU-GET-TO-KNOW-ME" smurf! Am I smurf or not?! lol

Snow White and the Huntsman

What is beauty if you're a bitch! Do I need to elaborate on this?

Gulliver's Travels
There are no small jobs, just small people (like me!) To some you may be small but to others, you might be big. I laugh hard with this movie as Jack Black can always do to me.

So many good movies out there to watch! Next time, we'll do Tagalog movie marathon. :)
